No More Highway Blockades for Demands: Home Minister Warns Against 'Mob Culture'
Responding to concerns raised by MP Rumin Farhana regarding post-uprising instability, the Minister stated that while the government respects freedom of speech, it will not allow the disruption of public life through road blockades. He encouraged citizens to adopt democratic methods, such as organizing seminars, holding public meetings, or submitting memorandums to relevant authorities.
The Minister also distinguished between spontaneous mobs and organized crime, noting that attacks on institutions are premeditated offenses that will be met with legal action and thorough investigation. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to eradicating lawlessness and ensuring a peaceful environment for all citizens.
