Home Minister Urges Adherence to Parliamentary Rules Amid Opposition Notice
Speaking on a point of order during Sunday’s session, he emphasized that following these protocols ensures the rights of all members remain protected.
The Minister noted that the Speaker had previously advised the Opposition Leader to submit notices following the proper legal framework, promising adequate time for discussion. Referring to the Chief Whip’s remarks, he reminded the House that such notices are typically raised after the question-answer session and Rule 71 proceedings. Highlighting the Deputy Speaker's authority, the Home Minister requested that the session proceed according to the 'Order of the Day' to maintain parliamentary discipline and fairness for all lawmakers.
