Black Marketers Tarnishing Govt Image Over Fuel Crisis: Finance Minister

Speaking at a discussion organized by the BNP at the Engineers Institute in Dhaka this Friday (March 27, 2026), the Finance Minister assured that the government is actively sourcing fuel from multiple international providers.

Despite the global crunch, he claimed that fuel supply has actually been increased. Amir Khosru urged local lawmakers to take a more proactive role in monitoring the situation. Addressing historical narratives, the Minister remarked that when politicians attempt to become historians, it often results in short-lived propaganda. He emphasized that the history of the Liberation War and the nation's subsequent journey must be chronicled by genuine historians to ensure authenticity.
