282 Expatriate Bangladeshis Returning from Bahrain via Special Flight

The flight, organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in Manama, departed at 9:00 AM today, Friday (March 20), traveling via Dammam to Dhaka. Prior to departure, Bangladesh’s Ambassador, Md. Rais Hasan Sarwar, met with the returnees at the Golden Tulip Hotel to wish them a safe journey. Meanwhile, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shama Obayed Islam, informed reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport that Bangladeshi missions in conflict-affected regions remain on high alert. She confirmed that the government-funded repatriation process for expatriates will continue through standard flights to ensure the safety of citizens abroad.
