Bangladeshi Expatriate Dies After Missile Attack in Saudi Arabia; Toll Rises to Three
He died around 11:30 PM (Saudi time) on Tuesday (March 17) while undergoing treatment at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital. Mamun had been on life support since the attack on March 8, which occurred at a labor camp just before Iftar.
With Mamun's passing, the death toll of Bangladeshis from that specific missile strike has risen to three, following the earlier deaths of Bachchu Mia and Mosharraf Hossain. Mamun, who suffered 72% burns on his body, leaves behind a young son. His family in Mymensingh is now mourning the loss and has appealed to the government to facilitate the swift repatriation of his body from the hospital morgue in Saudi Arabia.
