IGP Warns Against Overcharging During Eid Travels; Assures No Security Risk

After inspecting the Gabtoli bus terminal on Tuesday morning (March 17), the IGP advised passengers to report any incidents of overcharging directly to the police.

Regarding highway management, the IGP mentioned that the traffic department has been directed to prevent congestion caused by illegal parking and unauthorized passenger drop-offs. He assured the public that there is no security threat surrounding the Eid festivities. The IGP emphasized that local and highway police are working in coordination to ensure a smooth journey, urging both passengers and transport workers to remain vigilant and follow traffic regulations.
