Major Shake-up in Police Administration: New Chiefs for RAB, SB, and CID

According to a circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (March 16), DIG of Chittagong Range, Ahsan Habib Palash, has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of RAB. Additionally, Additional IGP (HRM) Sardar Nurul Amin has taken charge of the Special Branch (SB), while Additional IGP Mosleh Uddin Ahmed has been named the new chief of the CID.

The reshuffle also includes the appointment of Md. Shaukat Ali as the Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) and Md. Moniruzzaman as the DIG of Chittagong Range. These appointments, signed by Deputy Secretary Taushif Ahmed, aim to further strengthen the country's law and order framework.
