He reiterated that the mandate of the 13th Parliament is rooted in the sacrifices of the July 2024 uprising and promised that no "fascist structures" would be allowed to persist within the state machinery.

Addressing the concerns of the opposition, the Prime Minister assured the House that the government is committed to a transparent review of all ordinances passed during the interim period. He noted that the newly formed Special Parliamentary Committee would work around the clock to ensure these laws align with democratic principles before formal ratification. On the international front, the Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the volatile situation in the Middle East, particularly the threats to regional energy security, and confirmed that Bangladesh is in constant diplomatic contact with Middle Eastern partners to protect its economic interests and the safety of expatriate workers.

The session also saw the Prime Minister responding to questions regarding the rising cost of living. He announced that the government is working on a "Price Stability Taskforce" to curb inflation and dismantle market syndicates that have long exploited consumers. As the session continues until April 30, the Prime Minister called for constructive participation from the Jamaat-led opposition and the National Citizen Party to build a "New Bangladesh" based on meritocracy and the rule of law.
