He made these remarks as the chief guest during the inauguration ceremony of the government honorarium program for religious leaders of various faiths, held on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.

The Prime Minister emphasized that religious leaders are an inseparable part of society and play an indispensable role in upholding social values. He noted that the initiative to provide honorariums was undertaken as a form of state recognition for their contributions. During the event, he formally handed over honorariums to the Imams, Muezzins, and Khadems of 4,908 mosques, as well as religious leaders from 990 temples, 144 Buddhist monasteries, and 396 churches. He expressed his hope that this pilot project would further strengthen religious harmony across the country.
