Housing Ministry Rejects 'AC Training' Report as Baseless and Misleading

In a press release issued on Tuesday (March 10), the ministry labeled the report as "baseless, misleading, and untrue." According to the ministry, the officials were invited by the US-based company 'Dunham-Bush' for a specialized technical training program focused on the safety, operation, and maintenance management of high-end HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.

The training is part of an ongoing project to establish comprehensive cancer, kidney, and heart disease treatment centers. The ministry emphasized that the entire cost of the trip is being borne by the US company, meaning there is no financial burden on the Bangladesh government. This official order was approved on February 3 during the interim government's tenure. The knowledge gained from this technical session is expected to enhance the maintenance of advanced hospital machinery, ensuring better healthcare services for the public. The ministry urged media outlets to refrain from publishing distorted information that tarnishes the government's image.
