The Minister shared these updates following a meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

Minister Millat emphasized that ensuring passenger safety remains the government's top priority, and efforts are underway to resume the Dubai route as soon as possible. He further revealed that under the directives of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, a comprehensive plan has been initiated to overhaul Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The government aims to address past irregularities, improve service quality, and bring ticket prices down to a reasonable level. To reduce passenger harassment at airports, the number of scanners is being increased to three. The administration is committed to transforming Biman into a transparent and legally compliant organization while navigating the challenges posed by the volatile situation in the Middle East.
