Govt to Issue 'Family Cards' to 37,564 Female-Headed Households in Pilot Phase

In the initial pilot phase, a total of 37,564 female-headed households across various regions of the country will receive these cards.

Social Welfare Minister Abu Zafar Md. Zahid Hossain shared this information during a press conference at the Secretariat on Monday. He announced that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially inaugurate the program tomorrow, Tuesday (March 10), at 10:00 AM at the T&T Playground in Banani, Dhaka. This initiative marks a vital step toward elevating the social and financial status of women in Bangladesh.
