After inspecting several petrol pumps in the capital on Friday (March 6), the minister stated that the country currently holds sufficient fuel reserves to meet national demand. Addressing the public, he urged, "There is no need for panic buying. Please purchase only what you need to avoid creating artificial pressure on the market."

Regarding the abnormal price hike in the international market, the State Minister noted that while a domestic price adjustment might be necessary to cope with global pressure, the government is prioritizing the common man’s interest. "We are trying our best to avoid increasing fuel prices as long as possible," he added. During his visit to stations in Paribagh and other areas, the minister interacted with consumers to address their grievances and instructed pump authorities to ensure smooth supply. He reiterated that the government is closely monitoring the situation to keep the energy sector stable.
