She pointed to the 2026 election nominations as a stark example, where some parties nominated zero to only 3% female candidates. Women's rights activist Tasnim Zara emphasized that representation must go beyond mere participation, insisting that women be given pivotal roles in national policy-making. The speakers concluded that a discrimination-free family environment is the fundamental stepping stone for women to lead with dignity in all sectors.
