TIB also demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and corruption. Furthermore, the organization urged the interim government to scrap the "Police Commission Ordinance 2025" and replace it with an independent commission law formulated through inclusive stakeholders' feedback.

TIB also voiced serious concerns regarding the appointment of the new Governor of Bangladesh Bank, calling for its immediate cancellation to ensure the central bank’s neutrality and freedom from conflicts of interest. Dr. Iftekharuzzaman noted that while the current government has shown potential in meeting public expectations, certain actions—such as controversial ministerial remarks and partisan appointments—could undermine its credibility. He warned that if the ruling party members adopt a "winner-takes-all" mentality, it would be detrimental to the state's stability. TIB concluded by recommending a permanent ban on whitening black money and strictly prohibiting public officials from engaging in political activities.
