Prime Minister Directs Acceleration of Development Projects During Cabinet Meeting

Presiding over the session at the Secretariat, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the current state of law and order and the overall economic stability of the country. He emphasized that transparency and accountability must remain at the core of all administrative levels, warning that any negligence or lack of discipline in providing public services would not be tolerated.

The meeting also placed significant focus on the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, which is scheduled to begin across the country today. To ensure that citizens do not face hardships during this period, the Prime Minister ordered relevant ministries to intensify market monitoring and maintain a steady supply of essential commodities. He specifically warned against the "tendency to make excessive profits" often seen among certain business groups during this month, stressing that the government's priority is to safeguard the interests of both buyers and sellers while keeping prices within the reach of ordinary citizens.

To further ease the burden on the public during Ramadan, the government has already committed to ensuring uninterrupted utility services. The Prime Minister noted that instructions have been sent to the relevant authorities to provide consistent gas, water, and electricity supply, particularly during the critical hours of Iftar, Tarawih, and Sahri. In addition to these immediate measures, the cabinet discussed the progress of long-term initiatives such as the "Family Card" and "Farmer Card" programs, which are part of the government's broader 180-day priority plan aimed at fulfilling its electoral pledges and ensuring visible improvements in the lives of the general public.
