Dhaka-Sylhet Highway Blockaded Over Unpaid Wages in Rupganj

The protest, which began around 8:00 AM in the Muikuli (or Borpa) area, involved hundreds of workers from B Brothers Limited (also reported as B.R.I. Brothers).

The blockade led to a massive traffic gridlock stretching nearly 15 to 18 kilometers on both sides of the highway. Commuters, including those in long-haul buses and emergency vehicles like ambulances, faced extreme hardship as the demonstration continued for several hours.
