Pak-Afghan Conflict Not Beneficial for Anyone: Foreign Minister
Briefing journalists at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday night, he stated that both parties have been urged to resolve the issue through dialogue. He cautioned that this war would not be beneficial for either nation.
The Foreign Minister also shared that Bangladesh has secured widespread support from OIC member states for its candidacy for the presidency of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly. OIC countries will not only support Bangladesh but will also campaign globally on its behalf. Bangladesh's primary competitor in this election is Cyprus. Additionally, during the OIC meeting, the Bangladesh government strongly condemned Israel's recent land acquisition law, labeling it a clear violation of international law. The Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser, Humayun Kabir, accompanied the Foreign Minister at the airport.
