On Thursday (February 26), Judge Md. Sabbir Foyez of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court issued the order following an application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

According to the ACC's findings, the former minister's overseas portfolio includes a £6.52 million apartment in London's Marylebone Square, units in Oval Village, and properties worth £1.23 million on Clarendon Road, among others. A special task force comprising officials from the ACC, CID, and NBR is currently investigating these money laundering allegations. Investigating officers presented crucial evidence to the court, including purchase agreements, deeds, and payment vouchers related to the properties in London, Liverpool, Harrow, and Preston.
