Speaking to the media, the DMP Commissioner said, "We must ensure that such incidents do not happen again. Cooperation from all businessmen is essential in this regard. Those who adulterate food are enemies of the nation. We expect traders to remain vigilant so that commodity prices stay affordable during Ramadan."

Meanwhile, the Moulvibazar Merchant Association expressed regret over the incident. Abul Hashem, Vice-President of the association, stated, "The situation was exaggerated and is truly regrettable. The businessman involved has already expressed his apologies. We assure that such incidents will not recur, and traders will continue to cooperate with the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection as before."

Senior DMP officials and leaders of the merchant association were present during the meeting.
