PM to Work on Saturdays to Boost Administration

Soon after assuming office, he instructed Members of Parliament not to take duty-free cars or plot allocations — a move that has drawn praise from various quarters. He also advised ministers to avoid unnecessary and excessive spending.

For the second consecutive day, the Prime Minister visited the Secretariat on Thursday (February 19), entering the premises at 9:10 am.

He is scheduled to attend an inter-ministerial meeting on the “Family Card” initiative, aimed at strengthening coordination and improving the effectiveness of social safety net programs.
