To maintain cleanliness, authorities have banned all iftar items and food consumption on platforms, concourses, and inside trains. However, passengers observing the fast are permitted to carry a single 250ml water bottle for breaking their fast.Authorities have urged passengers to be careful not to spill water on the floor and to dispose of empty bottles only in designated bins located at station exits or platforms. Apart from this small water bottle, no other beverages or food items will be allowed during transit.

Effective from the first day of Ramadan (Thursday, February 19, 2026), the metro rail will follow a special timetable to align with the government's adjusted office hours. This schedule will remain in force until the day before Eid-ul-Fitr.During peak office hours, trains will operate at intervals of 5.5 to 8 minutes, while the headway during off-peak hours will range between 10 to 20 minutes. Please note that the existing schedule for Fridays and other public holidays will remain unchanged.
