On Wednesday (February 18), the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) charge sheet was accepted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge’s Court, presided over by Judge Md. Sabbir Foyez, who subsequently issued the order.

The other accused named in the warrant is former Assistant Legal Adviser Sardar Mosharraf Hossain of the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK). The court has set March 8 for submission of the execution report regarding the arrest warrants.

According to the case statement, the accused allegedly obtained a flat in Gulshan-2 owned by Eastern Housing Limited without making any payment, misusing their authority, and later completed its registration.

The ACC filed the case on April 15 last year against Tulip Rizwana Siddiq, Shah Mohammad Khasruzzaman, and Sardar Mosharraf Hossain.

In July this year, one of the accused sought relief from the High Court Division of Bangladesh, which temporarily stayed the investigation for three months. Later, the ACC received a “no order” decision from the chamber court.

Following the completion of the investigation, the ACC submitted the charge sheet against Tulip Rizwana Siddiq and Sardar Mosharraf Hossain on December 11.
