In the speech, delivered on Monday (February 16) at 9:15 PM, he announced the conclusion of his tenure. He said, "Our first task was to get the country back on track, and that was the most difficult task. Those who had looted the country were the ones running the machinery of the state. They fled along with their loyalists as soon as the coup occurred. The big leaders fled, the mid-ranking officials fled, and others changed sides or went into hiding."

He also mentioned, "The referendum took place, and the election was held in a festive atmosphere, with an Eid-like environment across the country, which will be remembered in our history."

The Chief Advisor congratulated both the victorious and defeated parties. "Victory and defeat are the beauty of democracy," he remarked. "Those who won received nearly half of the total votes. Even those who could not win secured nearly half of the votes. They should take comfort in knowing that almost half of the voters had faith in them. In the coming days, the new government will take charge, marking the end of our 18-month responsibility."
