Professor Ali Riaz to Hold Press Briefing on Saturday

Senior Assistant Press Secretary Faiz Ahmed confirmed on Friday evening that the briefing will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road, Dhaka.

According to the press wing, Professor Ali Riaz, Special Assistant to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, will address the media. Journalists have been requested to attend the session.

The national election and referendum were held peacefully on Thursday. Unofficial results indicate that the BNP-led alliance secured more than a two-thirds majority. It is expected that the briefing may cover matters related to the oath-taking of newly elected members and the process of transfer of power.
