People’s Trust is the Source of My Victory: Hasnat Abdullah

He stated, “This election was a struggle against a large and influential political group. But the people stood by me, and their trust is why I emerged victorious.”

Abdullah emphasized that his post-election priorities include establishing justice and ensuring that no injustice occurs even toward his opponents, with systems in place to enforce this. He also pledged to work on rebuilding the weakened state structures.

He highlighted that the party’s core principles include the eradication of fascism, accountability, and zero tolerance for corruption. “Our main aim is to restructure the state and ensure a citizen-focused government,” he added.

In yesterday’s election, Hasnat Abdullah won Cumilla-4 (Debidwar) by a large margin, receiving support not only from the NCP but also from the 11-party alliance.
