The CEC noted that the long-awaited 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum 2026 will be held tomorrow, describing it as a significant moment in the country’s democratic journey.
He paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War and those who lost their lives in the July uprising, praying for the departed souls and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
Highlighting that differing opinions are natural in a democracy, he urged voters to participate in a festive atmosphere, cast their ballots freely, and accept the outcome as part of the democratic process.
