During a press conference held at the Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon on Tuesday afternoon, Election Commissioner Brigadier General (Retd.) Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah clarified that candidates can continue their outreach online without violating the electoral code of conduct. He noted that while traditional large-scale programs like processions and public rallies are currently prohibited, there are no legal barriers for candidates or supporters to seek votes through social media or direct personal communication.

The Election Commissioner also emphasized a cautious approach regarding the announcement of election results to maintain transparency. He stated that there will be no rush to declare the final outcome. Given the complexity of this election—specifically the processing of postal ballots for expatriates which feature a vast array of symbols—the verification and counting process may take longer than usual. He urged the public to remain patient and rely only on official announcements from the Commission.

To combat the influence of "black money" and suspicious financial activities, the EC has implemented unprecedented monitoring measures. Commissioner Sanaullah revealed that the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has been directed to maintain the highest level of vigilance over unusual transactions. Furthermore, approximately 958,000 security personnel have been deployed nationwide to ensure a peaceful environment. The use of modern technology, including drones for aerial surveillance and over 25,000 body-worn cameras for field officers, is expected to make this the most technologically secure election in Bangladesh’s history.
