While many voters carry their NID cards, having your Voter Serial Number and exact Polling Center name can significantly speed up the process.

The Election Commission (EC) has introduced four easy ways to access this information using your smartphone or a basic mobile phone. Here is how you can find your details in seconds:

1. Call the Hotline (105)

For those who prefer speaking to an agent, the EC hotline is the most direct method.

  • Action: Dial 105 from any mobile or landline.

  • Process: Press 9 to speak with a representative. Provide your NID number and date of birth to receive your center name and serial number.

  • Availability: 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

2. SMS Service (No Internet Required)

If you don't have an internet connection, you can use the SMS method.

  • Format: Go to your message option and type:

PC <space> NID Number (Example: PC 1234567890)

  • Action: Send the message to 105. You will receive a reply with your voter details.

3. Official Web Portal

For a more detailed view, including map locations, use the NID services website.

  • URL: Visit services.nidw.gov.bd

  • Action: Navigate to the "Voter Center" (ভোটকেন্দ্র) menu. Enter your NID and date of birth to see your assigned center along with its Google Maps location.

4. Smart Election Management App

The most advanced method is using the EC’s official mobile application.

  • App Name: "Smart Election Management BD" (Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store).

  • Features: Once you input your NID and birth date, the app displays your name, voter serial number, and a photo/map of your polling station.
