The objects were found around 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, in a grass field just 20 yards from the Baniyakandi Government Primary School center in Sadki Union. The discovery has triggered significant panic among local voters and residents.

According to local sources, the Baniyakandi Government Primary School is situated near the local Baniyakandi Bazaar. At around 12:00 PM, a local mason named Farid Khan noticed two sealed bags in a Napier grass field belonging to a local resident named Motin Master, located on the western side of the polling center. Suspicious of the bags, he informed the locals, who then alerted the authorities. Executive Magistrates, Police, and Army personnel arrived at the scene and recovered 10 objects wrapped in red adhesive tape.

The recovered items were seen placed in buckets under the surveillance of the Kumarkhali police and the Army. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kumarkhali Police Station, Md. Jamal Uddin, confirmed the incident, stating that under the direction of higher authorities, the objects have been taken to the station for examination and legal proceedings are underway.

K.M.R. Shahin, Joint Coordinator of the District NCP, stated, "Miscreants have committed this act to instill fear ahead of the vote. We demand that security in this area be further intensified." However, the police and local administration have reassured the public that they have taken all necessary precautions to ensure uninterrupted voting and advised voters not to panic.
