With nearly 40 million young voters out of a total 130 million, the commission believes this demographic will be the key driver in significantly increasing the voting percentage compared to previous elections.

The Commissioner further emphasized that the participation of female voters has historically been a crucial factor in Bangladesh's electoral landscape. He noted that due to extensive awareness campaigns and a favorable political atmosphere, the motivation to vote has surged among the newer generation. Highlighting the commission's efforts, such as extending the voter registration deadline, he stated that the current momentum points toward one of the most participatory elections in the country’s history. According to Anwarul Islam, if this massive segment of the population turns up at polling stations, it will redefine the standard for electoral engagement in Bangladesh.
