Since early Tuesday morning, Gabtoli, Sayedabad, and Mohakhali bus terminals, along with Kamalapur Railway Station, have been overwhelmed with crowds, with the atmosphere described by travelers as even more festive than traditional Eid holidays.

The surge in travelers has led to severe congestion on the Dhaka-Aricha and Dhaka-Tangail highways, particularly at key points like Nabinagar, Savar, and Aminbazar. To accommodate the unprecedented demand, transport operators are running special trips, and the Railway authorities have added extra coaches to major routes. Travelers, including a large number of garment workers from Savar and Ashulia, expressed that after a long hiatus, the excitement of participating in a truly competitive election has prompted them to head home early to ensure their voices are heard.
