Religious Advisor Donates 13,000 Books to Prisons for Inmate Reformation

The collection, contributed by the Islamic Foundation and various religious welfare trusts, includes the Holy Quran, Hadith, Vedas, Gita, Tripitaka, and the Bible, among other moral texts. During the handover, the Religious Advisor emphasized that this initiative aims to cultivate reading habits and expand religious education within correctional facilities, adding that essential items like prayer mats and caps will also be provided soon. Senior officials, including the Home Ministry Secretary and the Inspector General of Prisons, were present at the event.
