The escalation occurred earlier in the afternoon when activists attempted to march toward 'Jamuna,' the Chief Adviser's residence, demanding a UN-led probe into the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi.

Tensions peaked at the InterContinental intersection as police used water cannons and tear gas to halt the protesters who tried to breach security barricades. While Inqilab Mancha alleged that Member Secretary Jaber was shot and several leaders, including Juma and Saluddin Ammar, were injured, hospital police sources stated that although three individuals were treated, none sustained gunshot wounds. The area remains tense as the organization prepares for its next move.
