Hadi Murder Case: Associate Rubel Confesses in Court

This information was confirmed today, Sunday (February 1), by SI Rokonuzzaman of the prosecution department. Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Mahbubur Rahman recorded the statement before ordering Rubel to be sent to jail.

According to case details, Osman Hadi was shot by assailants on a moving motorcycle in the Box Culvert Road area of Bijoynagar on December 12. He was initially treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Evercare Hospital before being air-lifted to Singapore for advanced medical care. Hadi succumbed to his injuries on December 18 while undergoing treatment. Rubel was apprehended by the CID with assistance from the DB Police on the night of January 21 in South Keraniganj. Investigating officer Assistant SP Abdur Kadir Bhuiyan stated that the confession is a significant development in unraveling the motives behind the high-profile murder.
