Final Voter List of 127.7 Million Published for National Election and Referendum

The electorate includes 64,825,151 male voters, 62,885,524 female voters, and 1,120 transgender (Hijra) voters.

The general election and the referendum on the 'July Charter' are scheduled to take place simultaneously on February 12. Gazipur-2 has been identified as the largest constituency with 804,333 voters, while Jhalokati-1 is the smallest with 228,431 voters. Given the dual voting process on the same day, the EC has noted that counting and polling may require extra time and caution. The commission also highlighted the inclusion of expatriate voters via postal ballots and emphasized strict enforcement of the electoral code of conduct to ensure a transparent and secure voting environment.
