Implementation of Modern Technology and Security: To ensure a fair and transparent process, the government is integrating advanced technology into the electoral system. Dr. Yunus highlighted that for the first time, 'body cameras' will be worn by security personnel and CCTV will be installed in polling stations, all monitored from a central control room. The Home Ministry confirmed that security forces would be deployed four days before the polls and remain on duty for seven days afterward. Additionally, drones will be used for surveillance, and members of the Armed Forces will have the authority to enter polling premises to maintain order.
Global Interest and Political Participation: The upcoming election has garnered significant international attention, with observers from 26 countries and a 300-member team from the European Union expected to attend. Out of 59 registered political parties, 51 have confirmed their participation. Highlighting the presence of numerous foreign journalists, the Chief Adviser instructed officials to maintain the highest level of professionalism. Furthermore, directives have been issued to the respective ministries to ensure uninterrupted power supply and high-speed internet connectivity throughout the election day.
