This crucial briefing will take place today, Tuesday, January 20, at 4:00 PM in the Auditorium (Basement-2) of the Election Commission Secretariat. During the 90-minute meeting, representatives of political parties will receive detailed explanations regarding the postal voting system, voter registration, and the overall technical process of casting ballots.

Earlier, in a press release on Monday, January 19, the EC announced that the Referendum and the 13th National Parliamentary Election will be held simultaneously on February 12. As part of the election preparations, the scrutiny of nomination papers and appeal hearings have already been successfully completed.

How to vote via the app: According to EC sources, the election fever will commence following the allocation of symbols tomorrow, January 21. Candidates will begin their official campaigns on January 22. Once symbols are allocated, registered voters residing both at home and abroad will be able to cast their votes through the 'Postal Vote BD' app. This digital method is expected to create a groundbreaking opportunity, particularly for expatriates and those unable to visit polling centers in person.

The Election Commission hopes that today's discussion with political parties will ensure transparency regarding the digital voting process and increase overall voter turnout.
