Commissioner Sanaullah emphasized that the implementation of face-detection technology ensures that one person cannot cast a vote on behalf of another via postal ballot. He further advised the public not to be misled by misinformation and rumors currently circulating on social media regarding the security of the process.

Addressing logistical challenges, the Election Commissioner noted that some issues have arisen with sending postal ballots to expatriate voters. Specifically, 4,000 postal ballots from Malaysia and 1,600 from Italy have been returned. He explained that these ballots could not be delivered to the intended recipients due to inaccurate address information provided by the expatriates.

Sanaullah assured that measures are being taken to identify the correct addresses and resend the ballots as quickly as possible. He concluded by instructing the presiding officers to ensure that the counting process is conducted in a fair, transparent, and neutral manner.
