Chinese Ambassador to Visit Teesta Project Area
The talks included the Teesta River Integrated Management and Restoration Project and the proposed Bangladesh–China Maitree Hospital Project. The ambassador stated that he will visit the Teesta project area and reiterated China’s commitment to completing the ongoing technical assessments promptly.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with positive progress in bilateral relations and pledged to further strengthen cooperation. The ambassador also reaffirmed China’s support for Bangladesh’s democratic processes and extended best wishes for the upcoming national elections.
