The Adviser shared this update while speaking with journalists at Saidpur Airport in Nilphatami on Sunday afternoon, January 18. She emphasized that the interim government is prioritizing the Teesta Master Plan, noting that a Chinese expert team is currently evaluating the technical and financial aspects of the project.

"Once implemented, this master plan will bring transformative changes to agriculture, water resource management, and livelihoods across the Teesta basin," she said. The project is considered a landmark initiative to fulfill the long-standing demands of the people in the northern region.

Regarding the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, Syeda Rizwana Hasan remarked that organizing a free, fair, and neutral election is not the sole responsibility of the government; it requires the active participation and awareness of the citizens to be successful.

Earlier today, the "Vote Car" campaign was launched in Nilphamari under the slogan "Referendum 2026: The Key to the Country is in Your Hands." To mark the occasion, a rally was held starting from the Deputy Commissioner’s office and concluding at the District Shilpakala Academy. Adviser Rizwana Hasan attended the subsequent exchange of views meeting as the chief guest.
