EC Appeal Hearing Day 6: 60 Candidates Declared Valid, 34 Rejected

To date, a total of 337 candidates have regained their eligibility over the past six days of hearings. Conversely, 115 appeals have been dismissed, and 33 are currently on hold for further review. The EC plans to conclude all remaining hearings by January 18.

According to the official schedule, the deadline for withdrawal of candidacy is January 20. Final candidate lists and symbols will be allocated on January 21, allowing official campaigning to commence on January 22. The 13th National Parliamentary Election is set to take place on February 12, with voting scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
