Law Enforcement Ready to Foil Any Election Sabotage: Chief Adviser

The Chief Adviser made these remarks during a meeting with the head of the European Union (EU) election observation mission on Sunday. Briefing the media later at the Foreign Service Academy, Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam shared the highlights of the discussion.

According to the Press Secretary, Dr. Yunus highlighted the immense enthusiasm among women and young voters, expressing optimism for a high voter turnout. While specific political parties were not discussed, the Chief Adviser assured the delegation that a level playing field would be maintained for all participating political entities.

Extending his gratitude to the EU for sending observers, Dr. Yunus reaffirmed that both the government and the Election Commission are fully prepared to conduct a free, fair, and credible election, which is vital for Bangladesh's democratic transition.
