'Ami Probashi' App Launches Visa Verification Service for Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia

In a press release issued on Sunday, the parent company of the ‘Ami Probashi’ app announced that this specialized verification service is already operational for Bangladeshi migrants heading to these three countries. For immediate assistance, users can also access this service by calling the helpline at 16768.

Under this new facility, migrant workers can call the helpline and provide their visa-related details. The ‘Ami Probashi’ team will then verify the information to confirm the visa’s validity. Once the process is complete, the user will receive an SMS notification stating whether the visa is valid or invalid.

Invalid/Missing Data: If the visa information is not found on the official servers, the worker will be advised to contact the respective country’s embassy.

Valid Visas: If the visa is authentic and has the necessary government approvals, it will be confirmed via SMS.

The authorities stated that the primary goal of this initiative is to protect expatriate workers from fraudulent schemes and to make the entire migration process safe and transparent. It is expected that this service will prevent financial loss and harassment for thousands of migrants.
