Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed Inspects Teknaf Land Port Amid Myanmar Crisis

On Tuesday morning, April 14, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed reached Teknaf Land Port, where he was briefed on the port's ongoing activities and the recent stagnation caused by the internal conflict in Myanmar.

During his visit, the Minister inspected the jetty, warehouses, and the overall infrastructure of the port. He also closely observed the Naf River border from the port building. Officials from United Land Port Limited shared detailed insights regarding the trade standstill and its impact.

Accompanying the Minister were Members of Parliament Shahjahan Chowdhury and Lutfur Rahman Kajal, along with senior officials from the BGB and local administration. This visit highlights the government’s focus on border security and revitalizing cross-border trade in the region.
