Mother of Three Goes on Hunger Strike at Lover’s House Demanding Marriage

According to local sources, the relationship began approximately three months ago via social media while Jihad was working in Dhaka. Madhabi claims that based on Jihad's promise of marriage, she lived with him in the capital for about a month. This relationship has led to her estrangement from her own family, who have now conditioned her return upon formalizing her union with Jihad.

In contrast, Jihad has refused to marry her, citing that she concealed the fact that she has three children. He also alleged discrepancies between her social media photos and her actual appearance, alongside accusations of her involvement with multiple individuals. Although local authorities briefly persuaded Madhabi to leave on Saturday, she returned to the spot on Sunday to resume her strike, demanding her rights as a partner.
