In a formal statement issued on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Secondary and Higher Education Division clarified that information circulating on various social media platforms and online news portals regarding the leak of the Bangla First Paper is baseless and lacks any factual foundation. The Ministry described such reports as motivated and intended to cause disruption.

The statement noted that the Bangla First Paper exam on April 21 and the Bangla Second Paper exam on April 23 were both completed successfully across the country. No incidents of irregularities or unpleasant situations were reported during the examinations. The Ministry views the spread of these rumors a day after the exams concluded as a deep-seated conspiracy aimed at creating unnecessary panic among students and guardians while tarnishing the government's image. It further ensured that no officials or employees of the Ministry are involved in any such malpractice.

The Ministry has advised the public not to be misled by such false news and to remain highly vigilant. Citizens are urged not to engage in any financial transactions under the lure of obtaining leaked question papers. The Education Ministry also requested that any suspicious activities or propaganda related to question leaks be immediately reported to the concerned authorities. The statement reaffirmed that the government remains in a strict position to maintain the transparency and security of the public examinations.
