The decision was finalized on Tuesday (March 10) during a review meeting regarding the 'Governing Body and Managing Committee Regulations-2024.' Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milan attended as the chief guest, while the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, Abdul Khalek, presided over the session.

According to official sources, the previous rules—effective before 2024—will be reinstated, meaning no specific academic degree will be compulsory for those leading school or college management boards. A formal order in this regard is expected to be issued shortly.
