Over 45,000 Students to Receive Junior Scholarships as Results Near Release
A total of 45,200 students across the country will be selected for talent-pool and general scholarships based on their performance. The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is currently in the final stages of processing the data for official release.
The scholarship program is designed to provide financial support to meritorious students for a duration of two years. The benefits are categorized as follows:

Talent-pool Scholarship: Students in this category will receive a monthly stipend of 450 BDT and a one-time annual grant of 560 BDT.

General Scholarship: Students selected under the general quota will receive 300 BDT per month and a one-time annual grant of 350 BDT.
The distribution of scholarships follows a board-based quota system. The Dhaka Board has been allocated the highest number of scholarships, with 11,425 students set to benefit. Other regional boards have received allocations proportional to their student population.
The competitive examinations took place between December 28, 2025, and January 5, 2026, covering four core subjects for a total of 400 marks. More than 315,000 students who passed Grade 8 participated in this year's race for the scholarship. Once published, students can access their results through the official websites of their respective education boards or directly from their schools.
