The notification states that based on the recommendations of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), 3,263 candidates have been appointed to entry-level positions. They will receive salaries in the scale of 22,000–53,060 BDT as per the National Pay Scale 2015.

Key Terms and Conditions: The newly appointed officers must undergo foundation training at the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) or other designated institutions. Following this, they must complete professional and special training relevant to their departments. They will serve a two-year probationary period, which the government may extend by up to another two years if necessary. During this period, if an officer is deemed unfit for service, they may be terminated without prior notice or consultation with the BPSC.

Permanent appointment will be granted upon successful completion of training, passing the departmental examinations, and satisfactory performance during the probation period.

The gazette also states that if an officer remains absent before their resignation is officially accepted, all dues will be recovered, and disciplinary action will be taken under the Government Employees (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 2018. Seniority will be determined based on the results of the 48th BCS. The authorities reserve the right to revoke any appointment if adverse information is found later. Marriage to a foreign national will also result in the cancellation of the appointment.

At the time of joining, candidates must submit a non-judicial stamp bond (300 BDT) pledging not to engage in dowry practices and must disclose their movable and immovable assets. Any forgery regarding the freedom fighter quota will lead to cancellation and legal prosecution. Appointed officers are required to join their respective offices by February 1st, or the appointment will be void.
